Something new is that your union will start a new life and new adventures. Something borrowed symbolizes someone or something that you respect or admire. Something blue then represents nothing. It was said that having something blue came because it rhymed with something new. The saying and tradition stills stands even though it has no symbolic meaning when you are getting married. As you can see, except for something blue, everything means or symbolizes something on you wedding day. Other bridal accessories are also needed such as the jewelry, make up, wedding favors, cake knifes and invitations and thank you cards. You always want to have everything you need far ahead of time to make sure there are no last minute surprises. You are going to have enough to worry about and think about the week for the special day without worrying about if you have everything you need.
