For a mere $10 fee you can be supplied with all the information you need to get start up or operating cash for your business through business grants. But are business grants that readily available? And are business grants that easy to get? In a word, no. There are business grants available, but very few compared to the need and most with very specific and stringent criteria. The awarding of these business grants is a very lengthy and time-consuming process. The lure of free money from business grants is strong. But as they say, there really is no free lunch, so if you happen to find a business grant that you qualify for and you do get through the process of applying for that business grant and you are one of the very few who actually gets a business grant at the end of all this effort, then you will have earned it, probably more than earned it. If you are determined to search for business grant for your business, the first place to check is a catalog of federal domestic assistance. This will list all the U.S. Federal Business grants available and what agencies they're available from and if this doesn't discourage you from your search, you can go on and contact those individual agencies to get a specific information and criteria for the business grants they offer. From there it is just a question of whether your business qualifies for any of these business grants and whether you have the time, money, energy and expertise to steer your way through the lengthy and complex application process in order to even be considered for any of these business grants. Business grants are an exciting and motivating prospect, but you need to approach your search for business grants with your eyes wide open in your hand on your wallet.
